Saturday

            Kennesaw/Beyond AllatoonaThe Kennesaw ride officially moves to 8:30 start on March 15 and then
to 8 am on April 26th. 55 miles. Race Training. 20 + mph. One bathroom
break early. One intermediate sprint after the Indian mounds.
Recollect/feed on Old Mill Rd. One final sprint next to the lake. Park
at Pacesetter Steel-3300 Townpoint Dr. East parking lot. From I-75 and
285 expect a 15 minute drive to the start of the ride

Monday

Duluth Monday Night Recovery Ride (20 miles, 16-18mph pace) that will leave the Duluth Cycleworks shop at 6pm until the first week of April where it will change to 6:30pm.

Tuesday

Nancy G's Steel Magnolias Ride, (25 miles, Moderate to Race Pace) Join us for a ride through north Buckhead and Sandy Springs. PLEASE NOTE THE NEW STARTING LOCATION. MARCH start time is 6 PM, 6:30 PM in APRIL. The ride starts at our new sponsor location, Nancy G's Café in the Fountain Oaks shopping center, 4920 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, http://www.nancygscafe.com/  Pace is moderate to strenuous with some climbing. Be sure to stay after the ride and join other riders at Nancy G's for post-ride food & re-hydration. There is NOT a "no drop" policy, yet there are several opportunities for regrouping at intersections. The course is marked with "CW" and directional arrows, maps are available from the ride leaders. Sponsored by Team CycleWorks, presented by HDR, Inc. NEW PARKING: park along the wall nearest  Roswell Road and not in front of Kroger. Please use Nancy G's restrooms for changing or the Kroger. Riders' meeting 5 minutes before the start in the lower lot. Helmets required, no go if rain.

Wednesday

The Duluth Wednesday Night Training Ride from the Duluth Cycleworks shop (33 miles, 19-21+mph pace) will leave the Duluth Cycleworks shop at 6pm until the first week of April where it will change to 6:30pm.

 

 

Winter 2007/2008

Friday

Duluth Ride, 4:30 roll out. Meet at Duluth Cycleworks for a 25 -30 miles winter pace ride (17-18 mph) over part of the Wed. night loop 

Saturday

Team Cycleworks Beyond Allatoona, 55 or 75 miles-Training-Not for casual riders. 18 mph average. Rolling terrain from Kennesaw towards Cartersville. One restroom break and one store stop. Take I-75 to exit 271-Chastain Rd. Go west on Chastain Rd approximately 1/4 mile and take a left onto Town Point Dr. Bear right at first intersection and park in Pacesetter Steal parking lot-3300 Townpoint Dr (the one with the low-clearance bar). Thanks Team Pacesetter! From I-75 and 285 expect about a 15 minute drive to the start of the ride. The route is marked with "BA." Cue Sheet. 

Sunday

Airport Ride-Training/Strenuous. Leaves at 10:00 am during the winter from the Trinity Lofts in Castleberry Hills. Parking is limited. Please ride to the ride. This is a race training ride during the Winter with average speeds of 18-20 mph. Options are 43 and 63 miles though South Fulton and Fayette Counties. There is one nature stop on the 43 miler and a store stop on the 63 miler. Be prepared to be dropped if you cannot keep up! No official map available. Cue Sheet. Map.
